Marble longfin bristlenoses bred

Postby kfenk » Sat Mar 31, 2012 3:23 pm

7 months ago I purchased 2 lots of small marble longfins. 4 from a breeder in Adelaide and 3 from a breeder in Sydney. in the last month the 3 biggest have started showing signs of maturity with 2 girls getting nice and gravid and a male caving and showing nice developed bristles. Last night I noticed the male on eggs and I'm stoked as iv never really seen them in Adelaide and I'd like to get more of them out there :)

Thats awesome news!!
Isn't it great when you wait for so long and then bang, you get things happening
Sometimes I pretend to normal!
But I get bored and I go back to being me.

Nice pic.
Great looking fins on him too.
Is there any other fish in the tank other than BN's?
If there is, just watch they dont attack the fins of the fry.

That tank consists of 4 marble longfins (1m 2f 1?), 4 3-4cm albino longfin bristlenoses, 1 4cm albino bristlenose, 1 4.5cm common bristlenose, 1 3.5cm peppermint bristlenose, 50+ endlers livebearers and a hand full of cherry shrimp :)
